Are your sinks available to purchase separately?
Yes, our sinks are available to purchase separately for your specific project requirements. We offer jetless sinks, drop-in sinks, jetted whirlpool sinks, pipless sinks, copper vessels and more.
What does pipeless mean?
"Pipeless" whirlpool sinks refer to a sink that has a whirlpool function, drain and faucet with air jets that circulate the water. The air jets do not have pipes, giving it the term "pipeless". Air jets are easy to clean and because there are no pipes that circulate the water, you don't have to worry about standing water in the pipes that potentially can collect bacteria.
What does jetless mean?
Jettless sinks refer to a sink that has a drain and faucet but no jets or whirlpool function. Jet-less sinks are gaining in popoularity because they are very low maintenance, quiet, less expensive and sanitary.
Will my guests be disappointed if my pedicure sinks do not have jets?
More and more owners are going toward jetless sinks for the reasons described above including reputable national salon franchises and chains. Reseach showed that there was little or no resistance when some of these chains eliminated their jetted sinks and replaced them with jetless. Research also showed that the overall "experience" was more important than just having jets. Many guests actually perceived the jetless sinks as more sanitary adding to customer satisfaction. It is also important to note that when you "take away" anything, including jets it is important to give back in other ways such as extra comfortable seats, heated neck wraps, a marketably sanitary pedicure and a fabulous interior. It's all in the perception....you get the picture!
Is there a back massage option available?
We offer an integrated back massage option with heat in most style backs. Backs that have tufting typically do not allow for back massage functions.
How do you coordinate plumbing and electrical with our plumber, electrician or contractor?
For your specific project, we will create a floor plan layout of your pedicure bench or chair including a drawing of the rough-in plumbing and electrical specifications and details that you can give to your plumber, electrican or contractor. These diagrams will have all of the necessary details to rough-in the plumbing and electrical prior to the installation.
Is the installation of the pedicure benches easy?
Yes. The main pieces are simply set in place, leveled and then attached together with pre-drilled holes. Any plumbing and electrical connections are then made to the sink, faucet and drain followed by caulking of all seems.
